Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Production Elements of the Quality Management System.
  • Map Processes, draft Control Plans, and implement Action Plans identifying Critical to Quality Aspects.
  • Analysis of Internal Production Data using Quality Tools (Statistical Analysis, FMEA, Error Proofing) to drive Production / Quality Continual Improvement Programs.
  • Participate in the Audit Program (Internal & External) to drive compliance.
  • Document Control – review/approval of controlled documents.
  • Investigation and CAPA management, including robust Root Cause Analysis.
  • Managing and Maintaining the Non-Conforming Goods Process.
  • Communicate with Suppliers all identified issues to achieve Permanent Corrective Action Response.
  • Coordinating Internal Defect Data with the Training Department to development training requirements.
  • Drive Continual Improvement through a Cross-Functional Approach.
  • Provide Quality Support and Coaching to functions within the organisation.
  • Evaluate processes, in conjunction with the HSE team, to eliminate Quality, H&S, and Environmental Risks.
  • Any other tasks that are deemed commensurate with role.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer Role within a Production Environment
  • Green Belt qualification would be an advantage.
  • Good technical capabilities, investigative abilities and initiative.
  • Customer Quality Assurance experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Risk Management Documentation (FMEA, GR&R, MSA)
  • Internal Auditor Qualification.
